The 163rd Boat Race and the 72nd Women’s Boat Race took place yesterday, Sunday 2nd April 2017, with Oxford claiming victory in the Men’s Boat Race and Cambridge victorious in the Women’s. The winning teams celebrated on the podium by spraying jeroboams of Chapel Down Brut – the official sparkling wine of The Boat Races. As well as being enjoyed by the thirsty victors, our wine was served on-board Her Majesty The Queen’s Royal Rowbarge, the Gloriana, for VIP guests who travelled down the Thames
